ĐOÀN THANH NỮ CỘNG HÒA
Những hình ảnh nhắc lại sinh hoạt bán quân sự của Đoàn Thanh Nữ Cộng Hòa (TNCH) dưới nền Đệ I Cộng Hòa Miền Nam nước Việt. Đoàn TNCH là một hội phụ nữ trẻ ở miền nam Việt Nam, còn gọi là Phong trào Thanh Nữ Cộng Hòa được thành lập vào thời Đệ Nhất Cộng Hòa. Phong trào đã được phu nhân của Cố vấn Ngô Đình Nhu là bà Trần Lệ Xuân khởi xướng & lãnh đạo.
Phải nói rằng phụ nữ miền nam Việt Nam là người phụ nữ đầu tiên ở vùng Đông Nam Á Châu đã tiếp cận được nền văn minh Tây âu từ rất sớm.
Bà Ngô Đình Nhu (Trần Lệ Xuân) không những là phong trào trưởng của Đoàn TNCH, mà bà còn là người thay đổi kiểu thời trang cho phụ nữ Việt Nam lúc bấy giờ. Một tác phẩm nghệ thuật về áo dài thời trang lúc bấy giờ được bà Nhu chuộng nhất là kiểu vẽ "không cổ áo" hay "cổ trần","cổ thuyền". Và bà là người đầu tiên mặc chiếc áo dài cổ trần này đi khắp nơi, chiếc áo dài kiểu mới này còn được công chúng gọi là "Áo dài Bà Nhu". Đây là một kiểu áo thời trang rất mới lạ đầy sáng tạo & thanh lịch cho mọi tầng lớp phụ nữ Việt Nam cho đến tận hôm nay.
